"The Winter Studio" is a distilled observation of the quiet world outside my window during the colder months. It captures the view into the garden through the blinds—a series of layered intersections where the architecture of the indoors meets the softening light of the outdoors.
This work is an invitation to slow down. Through a palette of muted greens, soft earths, and subtle tones, it explores the textures and stillness of a garden held in winter’s pause. The layered paint and linear marks echo the rhythm of the blinds, creating a space of calm where one can appreciate the beauty found in the everyday, quiet transitions of life.
