Artist Bio

Dunedin based artist Justin Morshuis creates vibrant art inspired by moments and memories of life through multi-sensory experiences of colour, line, shape, and form. Drawing inspiration from his local surroundings, Justin creates lively, impressionistic work, mainly using oil paint and oil pastels. As an artist with Asperger Syndrome, Justin has a unique way of organising visual information. His art serves as a helpful outlet for self-expression, a way to navigate social challenges, and a method to process and share his inner world. 

Essentially self taught, Justin has been actively working as an artist since he was 18 yrs old. His work has sold to collectors through Milford Galleries, Moray Gallery and Brett McDowell and we are excited to represent Justin at Deciduus.
