Loma was founded in 2021 by Mangawhai leather artisan, Rebecca Lloyd. Driven by her passion for crafting functional and unique items, each creation is made to last and develop character over time. Handcrafted in small batches, Rebecca uses premium full-grain bovine leather from respected tanneries globally with a focus on sustainable, ethical practices. Her pieces are minimal and timeless, avoiding fast fashion trends. 

 The name "Loma" pays tribute to Rebecca's cherished Godmother-like figure, a stylish, spirited supporter. In Fijian, "Loma" means "Love", reflecting Rebecca's passion for her craft and the lasting memory of a remarkable woman.
