Delphiniums and Magnolias | Kaye Davis

Kaye Davis

‘Delphiniums & Magnolias’ is a photographic homage to a once seen illustration. Each element was photographed separately then brought together through post-production compositing and manipulation techniques. Framed in black.

The negative effects created loosely reference that of an x-ray that reveals hidden elements of a subject. The positive elements highlighting the sculptural and delicate nature of the flowers.
