These stud earrings are laser cut from Rimu wood in our own Hoiho Yellow eyed Penguin design.
Hand painted and coated with bees wax to protect. Posts are surgical steel, nickel free - good for sensitive ears and they are approx. 22mm wide and 15mm high.
About
Wellington based jeweller Cat from Natty Design is inspired by the unique flora and fauna of New Zealand. Cat creates beautiful mementos without being overtly ‘Kiwi’. Other influences draw from popular culture, her memories and life, to create humorous, fun illustrations.
Natty aims to evoke and celebrate the natural environment with their product, rather than impact on it and package as lightly as possible using mostly local suppliers as often as possible. All product printing and packaging is done here in NZ, mostly in Wellington.
